covers, warning, dedication & advertisement
As with the first half of the story, this one was written and drawn
in about two weeks' time. It was drawn the year after the fire. Lucky me,
it was also drawn during a period of severe
manic-depressive-insomniac-slow-road-to-recovery from that fire. Whee. Today, with the knowledge that I am bipolar
(as, ironically, was my co-writer) I understand a bit better why the
DP comics were such freak-jobs.
The
NOTE is actually mostly true. I was hot, and we didn't have air
conditioning in our apartment (shrug)
Rick got the dedication because he provided the copies of so much of my previous work after I lost them in the fire.
Also... WE LIED... especially about the second one, that will never get done, guaranteed. At least I'm actually working on The Doctor, for real, as of 2009.
